When I was diagnosed with psoriasis, it was a big obstacle. I didn’t know what it was, how to treat it, or how it was going to affect my life, both at a personal level and at work. I sought information and became informed - armed with the right information, I was able to cope quite well.
Those of us who suffer from psoriasis are a bit like pilgrims, we start with one treatment, we follow it, we see that it is not effective and we get another treatment. There comes a time when you find one that works for you.
I got involved in Psoriasis: The Naked Truth to show to the rest of the world how you can live with psoriasis and to give hope to the ones
that are suffering.
People who suffer from this illness need to be informed, and so do those people around them who are committed to helping them - with the right information they can provide as much support as possible on all levels.
